On April 25th, Madrid Secreto joined the third edition of Mini Open Tennis as an official partner, bringing its editorial and a cultural touch to one of the city’s most vibrant lifestyle events.
The tournament continues to redefine the boundaries of sport, transforming a traditional format into a meeting point for creativity, culture and lifestyle, it has been described by some media as “the Coachella of tennis.” This year’s edition brought together over 50 teams and 5,000 attendees, including athletes, artists, brands and cultural collectives, turning the courts into a space where music, fashion and media converged with sport.
Within this context, Madrid Secreto contributed both on-site and editorially, becoming part of the experience while capturing the voices and moments that define Madrid’s evolving cultural scene.
Located near the main entrance, Madrid Secreto introduced a vermut and gildas kiosk in collaboration with La Gildería, one of the city’s leading references in traditional gastronomy.
A central element of the activation was a printed newspaper, developed specifically for Mini Open Tennis and featuring exclusive interviews by Madrid Secreto. The publication combined gastronomy insights from Madrid’s local scene with tennis-related content, including interviews conducted onsite. Among the featured names were Fernando Llorente, World Cup-winning footballer; Vero Gómez, chef and MasterChef finalist; and Arturo Valls, one of Spain’s most recognizable TV hosts and entertainers.
Throughout the day, the kiosk quickly became a natural gathering point. As one of the few spaces offering free food and drinks, it encouraged attendees to pause, connect and spend time beyond the courts.
Beyond the kiosk, Madrid Secreto approached the event through its editorial lens. The team conducted onsite interviews with creators, athletes and cultural figures, capturing the voices and perspectives shaping the city’s current cultural landscape.
